Oslo Open
Please join us for an opening reception of our exhibition as satellite program under oslo open on 21.04. from 17.30, in Atelier Nord ANX and open studios on 23.04. 12-18pm.
The exhibition will be open 22 & 23 while the studios will be open only on 23rd 12-18pm.
Location: Olaf Ryes plass 2 (inng Sofienberggt).
For the third consecutive year artists with studios in Olaf Ryes Plass 2 will show work at Atelier Nord ANX during Oslo Open. Additionally, the screening programme Open Video, curated by Janne Talstad, will be shown.
During the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of April it will be possible to visit the artists in Olaf Ryes Plass 2 in their studios, as well as se a selection of work at Atelier Nord ANX.
Participating artists from Olaf Ryes plass 2 are: Martinka Bobrikova & Oscar de Carmen, Hans Christian Borchgrevink Hansen, Karoline Jahn Hjorth, Iselin Kleiva, Simen Engen Larsen, Jannicke Låker, Tone Myskja, Camilla Skibrek, Ellen Henriette Suhrke and Janne Talstad.
Oslo Open is an artist-run festival that was established in year 2000 by a number of artists and major art institutions in Oslo with the aim to give artists an alternative venue to show their work, and an opportunity to be discovered outside of the established art institutions. Somewhere between 350-400 professional artists open their studios in Oslo each year to give the public a unmediated meeting with their art.
