5th Odessa Biennale
The 5th Odessa Biennale is one of the most large-scale and significant Ukrainian cultural events of recent years. "The zone of turbulence" continues the tradition of the Odessa Biennale of Contemporary Art, organized by the ISMS since 2008. At the moment, this is the only regular event in Ukraine of this format.
The concept of the "Zone of turbulence" poses to the artists the problem of permanent uncertainty, relevant in Ukraine and abroad, calls attention to the essence of social problems with the help of universal optics of art.
The 5th Odessa Biennale of Contemporary Art "Turbulence Zone" will begin on August 26 and will last until September 30, 2017.
