This session confronts the pressing questions that the pandemic has raised for the arts community. What is the distance we need to close between arts/artists and the rest of society? Is it necessary to rethink artistic practice and its realignment with social conviction? Is there a need to construct/develop new ethics and aesthetics of art-making as we consider how to re-emerge post-COVID-19? What kind of art do we insist on making in current times and after?
